Our HOMESTAY Program

• Seven days in Rocas de Santo Domingo, one of the country’s loveliest resorts facing the Pacific Ocean, away from all interruptions and concerns, in a comfortable beach house with 2 other students and 3 specialist teachers.
• It’s a foolproof way of overcoming that Intermediate Level Plateau you feel you can never go beyond. It is also the best introduction to a new language if you have just arrived in Chile and have a two or three year tour.
• You will have three 2-hour sessions of individual classes a day and a Tutor will be assigned to you. He/she is responsible for your language progress and success and will coordinate your classes with the other two teachers, who rotate throughout the day.
• Cable television and video, CD ROMS and parlor games are available to help you go on with the practice in the evening, communicative group language activities are held every evening.
• Jogging along the shore, biking and tennis are available as well as horseback riding in the nearby Equestrian Centre. There is a unique Nature Preservation Area in the vicinity called El Yali, with over 400 different bird species nesting and feeding there.
